a charming escape near the stunning royal castle and vibrant cafes

I stayed for a night and found everything I needed was within walking distance, including the beautiful Royal Castle of Tarbert just a few steps away, and I enjoyed lovely meals at nearby bistros that helped me unwind after my city strolls.

Lovely clean room.

I had a great time during my stay. the cozy, clean room and the delightful coffee machine were highlights. The local cafe nearby offered an amazing breakfast, making mornings special.

The stay included a comfortable twin room with a private bathroom, which offered a good level of privacy. the check-in experience was not great, as the staff could have been more accommodating. The steep access staircase required some caution but was manageable. Ideal for a short stay but be prepared for some service inconsistencies.

An adorable wee place with a Mediterranean feel, the room was warm and spotless, providing a perfect respite after long hikes. The location was great for catching the ferry and enjoying nearby scenic hikes. The drinks machine was a nice touch, making the stay even more convenient, and the local knowledge from the host was invaluable.

i stayed two nights at starfish rooms and had a great experience. the hotelier was incredibly friendly and welcoming. they helped me with the coffee machine and suggested excellent places to eat in town. my twin room was clean and comfy, and the shower pressure was amazing!

The Starfish Rooms offer a warm and friendly atmosphere with clean and cozy accommodations. While the walls can be a bit thin, the overall experience was delightful, making it a great choice for exploring Tarbert. Just a heads up, breakfast isn't included.

The local eats had me swooning! Cafe Ca'Dora served up the most craveable breakfast just a stone's throw away, while The Anchorage Bistro dished out a seafood feast that was pure magic. The warm welcome and clean, comfy room made our stay feel like a cozy retreat.

We chilled in a twin room for a night. The vibe was super relaxed, and the location was perfect for walks by the harbor. Rooms were warm, comfy, and had that rustic feel. Basic bathrooms, though, could use a little upgrade. The castle visit was a nice surprise, and dinner options nearby were solid too.
